Larry and I went to Seatle over Martin Luther King day . It was a fun day in Seatle with no rain. We ate lunch at the Corner Cafe that is where Sleepless in Seatle was filmed in one of the scenes. WE went to the dna wall where everyone sticks there gum if they want. YUK!!! No I did not . WE rode the lite rail into Seatle and back. Oh and I saw the EDWARD AND JACOB. Made my day. lol

Tina and I have had one fun time after another this summer . We love a good boutique and quilt stores. We have not missed a weekend that we have gone to one of them all summer. WE have had fun and are there to go anytime anyone wanted to go. Just call us and we will can tell you where the funnest places are to visit. We had fun with the Dixie Chics., this was our week end with them . They are all fun to go with.

Farmers Market Again !!!

Heidi and I loved the farmers market I have told her it about forever and finally drug her there. Aly is a trooper,she is going to be a great little shopper . The farmer market is a place you all need to go . Is so retro and out of the ordinary place for all of you to visit. You will think you have vistied San Francisco or Portland. A must see !!! Smell the smells/ See the sites / hear all the sounds
..Loved it .. WE went to Art Garden and the mall. I loved my weekend with these girls.

Swiss Days!!!

I am getting very continental going to Swiss days and the Welsh festival all in one summer. I won't need to go to Swiss days again in my life time. It was hot and tooooo many people , but I loved going with Heidi, Aly and Tina . It was a fun day with them .

TINA AND I WENT TO THE FARMERS MARKET AND FELL IN LOVE WITH ALL THE SMELLS , SOUNDS AND SITES TO SEE . WE EVEN FOUND THESE 2 PRISONER GUYS SELLING THERE VEGTABLES AT THE MARKET . THE GAURDS WERE THERE MAKING SURE THEY BEHAVED AND i ASKED THEM IF THEY WERE SURE THEY SHOULD BE THERE . THEY LOVED THAT SOMEONE WOULD JOKE WITH THEM . THEY PROMISED IF I BOT SOMETHING THEY WOULD STAY AT PRISON WHEN THEY GET OUT.

Summer fun

What happened to May and June.Danny left and I lost it for a little bit blogging. Really what happened is my camara broke and It took me awhile before I decided to go buy another one . July was just a busy month starting with the Welch Festival and it was fun . Heidi and Valerie decided to have a booth called the Sassy Sisters and wow those girls are talented. It was a lot of fun . I took some crafts up for Tina and myself and with Heidi and Valerie's craft we had the most popular booth at the festival. It was lots of fun and we all did really good $$ wise. We found it to be a lot of work. Val and Heidi went on and did it at the 4th of July. I spent that week up with Nick and val and kids and celebrated Adalie 1st birthday. We all had so much fun.. She is our little Princess... We went to Silverwood in Couer de Lend , Id a theme park and had a blast . My first time to do a wave pool. Mason and Cannon are little fish and can swim so good. Always a fun time at their house.

Danny left for South America with his pack back on Tuesday. I was going to be so brave and not cry but when that morning came and I had to say goodbye the tears come. I have so much fun with Danny he keeps me in touch with what is going on in the world and all the hip things. WE would go to lunch every Friday and I have been to some places I would never go with out Danny. He would watch American idol and Dancing with the stars with me and we would judge them all. Danny was good and got them right on what the judges would say. I am not sure when he will be home and he only bot a one way ticket. He will have fun and is much braver than I . What an experience for him and the stories he will have when he returns. I Can't even call him but have him on skype if we are line at the same time. I am going to miss him

I just spent 5 days in Pasco, wa with the Kundes. They are all so fun and getting big. Mason has all new teeth coming in . He will be 8 yrs old April 10 and will be baptised, I am so proud of him. Russ went to the Coast for Thanksgiving with Nick and Family. They all had a good time. Nick loves hunting he is so blessed to have a father in law who will go with him hunting! I got this quilt 20 or more years at the Baby Place when I worked there ! It was made by NoJO my boss gave us each who worked there one for Christmas. I have loved it and displayed it every Christmas. I told Valerie when I got a little granddaughter I would give her the Chrismas Quilt. It has embroidered in one corner baby's first Christmas. Adalie is the winner! I love her !

Becky and Patti had a withces tea party it was way fun!!There were all kinds of witches . I won the prize for the most orginal withch and one of the best cackles!
Recipe for withches soup : 1 eye of a gnewt/ 1 bat wing/ then stir with that 2 toad legs / a cackle of witch and stir a spell and serve on a spooky nite... We just had a fun time and are going to make this a yearly event for our true inner selves to come out.. I loved it .. Happy halloween

Nancy, Stacey, Jenn, Lauie are in the picture we all went to our freind Monica Roberts funeral . It was very sad Monica was only 47 yrs old and will be missed by everyone she came in touch with . She had a beautiful family , they will miss her but her memories will keep them going and remembering what a wonderful mother, grandmother , sister , aunt , dauhter and freind she was. Jackie ,annette, greta, Dort, laurie E, Emerald, Eadie, Meri Jo and daughter ,Trish, Dale, were all there. It was nice to see all my South West Family again and learn where the last 4 years have taken them . We have all gone through a lot together. Monica we all loved you.. I had fun with this pattern all the different color polka dots. This was an easy and fun pattern to work with Turning 20 looks different everytime you make it . I sure have found enjoyment in making quilts so will share them with all of you! I also am showing my yard , larry put a sprinkler system in and made yard work a lot less hassle not having to drag hoses around. Went way too long with out a sprinkler system ! Valerie kunde does the quilting and that is what makes what makes the quilt come alive . Thank-you Valerie.. I love you . You are so fantastic !

MaMa Mia , we had a good time it reminded me of the show when I went to dinner July 31, 2008 with some friends from highschool . Some of them I had not seen for 40 years or more. WE had a great time giggling about the fun times we had and getting caught up on the last 4o years. My My where does the time go. Jan Moon, Sandra Archibald, Janet Corbridge , Christine Williams, Jeanine Jones, Anita Kearns were all there. It was a lot of fun . Addalie is 11 days old. She is a little bundle of joy and is loved by her grandparents, aunts,uncles, cousins, mother ,dad and brothers. We are so thankful to our Heavenly father for sending her to us! She is a miracle in all of our eyes. We have so much to be thankful for. She is loved by us all.

Addalie Jane Kunde arrived July 07, 2008!! She weighed 8 lbs and is 19 inches long. She is a cutie. She had a few problems to begin with and had to be put in an intensive care but all seems to be going well now. Val took her back yesterday to the hospital and had her yellow jaudice checked. It had gone down a little so they will not put her back in the hospital. She was weak and not nursing at all, she had lost a pound but the nurse gave Valerie a nipple to use that will help her with her nursing so she does not have to suck so hard and it flows better. We got her home yesteday and by last night, we could see a big change in her eating, Val takes her back tomorrow to make sure everything is on the up and up.
Mason and Cannon just love her to pieces and want to be right in there with her. Mason said she likes to hold his pinkie, it calms her and Cannon hums to her and that makes her happy. She is really a loved little princess and we all want a turn to hold her.
Val's parents belong to a neighborhood pool organization and so we went over and the boys showed off how they can swim. Mason is an excellent diver. I could not catch with my camara in the air but Val did so when their pics come I will put more on. Cannon is a good little swimmer too.
I had a good time with them and will go again next month to see her blessed babes. Families are forever.

This was a fun party I can't remember the girls name but she was a Benson and she always had just fun partys this one was the button and bow party and you won a prize if you had the most bouttons and bows. Mother sewed all day and put those buttons all over .She loved that I did these kind of things and was so good to do it for me. I won of course look all those buttons and bows. Mother loved to get us all fixed up for the occassion. Look how black my hair was and Dad did mine and Dixie's style . He was our beautician. Oh we were cute .

Jill's Summer Backyard Party 2005
This was a fun backyard party!!! Someone from each of our families was there. It is hard to get us all together anymore. We will be having a party again this summer in Malad for Keith's 75th birthday. It is amazing we are all getting up there in years. I remember a party at Downata Hot Springs and we all got together with Aunt Marie and Mary and we had seen them in years , I was shocked how old they had gotten. That will be how it is for us , when we don't see everyone for a long time. Families are wonderful. Thank goodness they are forever.

I have been working all day to get these 3 pictures in my blog. I finally got them . I forgot to write anything. I was going to put Waterfalls. Danny and I went to visit Russ a few years ago and he took us to this waterfall it was beautiful and a fun place to visit. It is right by Portland. We had a fun day and it was fun to visit Russ. I should go and visit Danny and Russ now, but we all seem to be so busy. Sad huh ....Nick and his boys went to a Falls too there a lot of falls in Washington and Oregon.I am excited to have figured out how to add the pics. so maybe I will try a video next. hehehehe. This takes a lot of my time.but i do have to say it is fun well kinda.. I love seeing everyone elses.
